Can anyone tell me if there is a sequence to bolting on a aluminum intake and what the proper torque for the bolts would be when installing. Thanks in advance.......Kirby

There definitel is a sequence for torquing the intake manifold bolts. You will find a diagram with the sequence in your Chevrolet or Corvette Service Manual and you will also find it in many Chevrolet engine books, GM-published and otherwise.

The intake manifold bolt torque 30 lb/ft for both big blocks and small blocks.

I believe I saw a shetch in my shop manual which showed installing the center two bolts on each side then the outer bolts. Tighten in the same order working your way around the manifold.
