C1: 1961 trunk mat

I'm researching for my '61 Jewel Blue car. The mat inside the trunk is black. Is that a correct color for a Jewel blue car?

Tony, I believe the trunk mat color is tied to the interior color, not the exterior color. TIM&JG would be the best source for this answer. Dennis

The interior color of my '61 is also blue. Is black a proper trunk mat color or does it have to be a blue one? If it is supposed to be blue, is a proper blue trunk mat made these days?

Needs to be blue--you need to get the 61-62 judging manual--these things are answered there.

I have a '61 Jewel Blue. When I restored it a few years back, jewel blue trunk mats were not available, so I dyed it. So far, it still looks good with no cracking, etc. I understand that jewel blue mats are now available from the vendors such as Al Knoch.
