Help Part # 67 PG Spedo Gear

Cars on the rack, parts dept. closes in an hour. I need the number for the silver 22 tooth spedo gear for 67 PG. They list a 20 blue for the car that's whats in it. Wrong but they don't list a 22 Silver only green wrong rear end ratio. Help.

The SILVER 22 tooth DRIVEN gear is GM #3987922. However, this gear was never originally used for ANY 1967 Corvette. It didn't even exist until about 1971 and there was no predecessor part number for this, particular, gear.

1967 Corvettes with Powerglide used a 3.36:1 rear ratio and should have used a 20 tooth BLUE gear, originally of GM #3866793 and currently of GM #3987920.

If you require the 22 tooth gear for reasons of tire size change or rear gear change, then the 3987922 gear is compatible with the the DRIVE gear installed in your transmission IF the gear you took out is the 20 tooth blue gear. Also, if this is the case, the 22 tooth GREEN gear or ANY higher tooth count DRIVEN gear is NOT ompatible with your installed DRIVE gear.

Thanks Joe that's what I was getting from my parts books. The local Chevy dealers parts dept. could not find it, I see now why it will never come up under 67. I'll try the part number you gave me on Monday. I did have my origina blue 20 tooth in the trans but I was reading fast the 22 should bring it closer.
