    C1 tail lights/turn signals

Owner's manual calls for 1034 bulbs in tail lights/parking lights in my 62. The car currently has 2057 bulbs installed with the exception of 1 1157 in the right rear. This particular turn signal is not as bright as the others. All turn signals flash more rapidly than I think they should. Will the bulbs effect the rate of flash?

Gettin ready to head to my FLAPS.
    Thanks

Bulbs that draw greater current cause the thermal element in the flasher to heat more rapidly, speeding the cycle - bulbs with very low draw cause slow or no flash. Also, flashers do "tire out". Regards, ...Al '58 245hp

Thanks Al, I assumed higher resistance through the bulb would result in faster flashing. I guess I am asking if anyone knows what the difference in the resistance levels are between the 1157, 2057, and 1034 bulbs are.

According to my Sylvania Automotive Catalog 1034 draws 1.8 amps and 1157 & 2057 draw 2.1 amps at 12.8 design volts. Difference between 1157 and 2057 is 2057 is a long life bulb.
