Jim-----
I attempted to respond to your e-mail inquiry but my response was "kicked back" as being "undeliverable". So, I'll try it this way:
There are errors concerning C1 brake hose parts information in the P&A Catalogs which carried forward for many years. However, here's the deal: 53-62 Corvettes used 3 brake hoses, 2 front and 1 rear. All 3 of these were the same and all were of GM #3696551 aka Delco #127. Length was 17". This same hose was also used for 1955-57 Chevrolet passenger cars for the REAR only.
The above-referenced parts are GM and Delco discontinued. However, they're easily available in the aftermarket. The Raybestos part number is BH-13841 and the NAPA part number is UTS-4113841. These are, of course, functional replacements. They likely won't be exactly as-original with respect to every nuance of configuration.
