Having 1967 roadster frame (body off) repair under insurance claim. Older top flight car- want fixed per NCRS standards. Currently in debate with insurance company over fair hourly fate for quality shop (corvette specialists) to do work in Pennsylvania. They say 60.00/hour adequate - I'm trying to find information to provide documentation in support of $75-85.00 hourly rate. Any advice, recommendations as to make my case would be appreciated. I'd prefer not to mention insurance company and shop names to keep this part of issue private.

they pay 50.00 in my area (st louis). Do you think the guy doing the work on the car will do a better job at 80.00 per hour than he would a 50.00 ? If so you better find another shop. I would worry less about the dollars per hour ,and more about the amount of hours on the job.Bill
