I JUST RECIVED A SET OF REPRODUCTION '65 "396" SPARKPLUG WIRES FROM LECTRIC LIMITED. THE SCRIPT ON THE WIRES DOES NOT MATCH THE 65 NCRS JUDGING MANUAL. THE MANUAL SAYS IT SHOULD READ "PACKARD TV R SUPPRESSION" WITH THE DATE CODE & THE LIGHTNING BOLT H LIGHTNING BOLT H SYMBOL. THE REPRO WIRES HAVE "PACKARD TVRS LR" WITH THE DATE CODE & LIGHTNING BOLT H LIGHTNING BOLT. I TALKED TO A REP FROM LECTRIC LIMITED. HE SAID THEIR WIRES ARE CORRECT FOR A 65 VETTE & THE NCRS MANUAL IS WRONG. THE SCRIPT IN THE '65 MANUAL IS CORRECT FOR A '67. IT APPEARS THE SCRIPT CHANGED OVER THE YEARS. DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO ON THE CORRECT SPARKPLUG WIRES FOR THESE YEARS

quite a few years ago i bought a complete 65 396 engine that was supposed to have been removed when only a couple years old. it still had the correct cap&coil what was strange was the plug wires they had the correct braiding & brkts.with all the right bolts ,clips etc. but the wires said standard motor parts cc7n. they looked correct ???- Top
