C3 1971 key configuration

Greetings everyone.

I'd like to know the correct factory configuration of the locksets. I've heard it two ways:

1. Both ignition and doors are the same square key, while the compartment and alarm were the same oval.

2. The ignition was square, while the compartment, door, and alarm were oval.

My serial is: 194371s117419 I think that puts my production time around May.

Doors and ignition are the same rectangular shanked key (A-coded keyway) while rear storage, spare tire lock, and optional alarm were the oval shanked key (B-coded keyway). This is clearly defined in the Judging guide as well as the PV manual. Expect judges to 'test' your locks during Operations Check and Performance Verification for proper keyway coding (each lock fully accepts the defined keyway and each locks REJECTS the insertion of keys with a different keyway coding--insure locks don't have 'generic' universally keyway encoding).
