Last month there were several posts which discussed currently available rally wheels for C-3's. A number of posters questioned the quality of the K-H wheels available at the std corvette supply houses. Specifically cited were problems with Runout and Trueness. My question is this: Wheel Vintiques sells a rally wheel for corvettes that they manufacture themselves. Is this an accurate copy and does anyone have experience with its quality and trueness?

Mike I have read the same posts you have about the quality of the K-H steel wheels and the problems with runout and trueness. I wonder what kind of quality control K-H had with the wheels they were producing for GM back in the 60-80's. Were the same kind problem wheels put on the Corvettes leaving the factory in St Louis? Could the two of the wheels on my 68 that are not true have been installed at the factory? I was wanting to buy some replacement wheels that were true from K-H, but looks like I will continue to use the original equipment if there is no quality control on their products.
