Check eBay for a reality update, similar cars sell andor are offerred regularly. You can search closed auctions for final sale prices, and also see what reserves scare away all bidders.

I am surprised at what people THINK their Vettes are worth. They are only worth what people will pay. If you keep your Vette in the garage, never take it out if the sun isn't shining, etc., you might get a couple of thousand more for it. How much did it cost you for insurance etc. to keep it that way? And you lost out on the enjoyment of driving it. Corvettes were meant to be driven not as furniture. Now I will climb off of my soap box.

You can take off your wig and leather fringe vest, too, when you step off the box.

What kind of value does the owner have on his 88? Why would the clutch need replacement at 64K? How often was the OD unit serviced?

Actually, I am the owner. I am just trying to get a fair value for the car. I'm not out to get rich or rip anybody off, but I don't want to get the proverbial shaft either. The clutch started to slip so I replaced everything. I guess the first owner should have bought an automatic!!
