I had posted an earlier link on this subject, concerning a set of NOS seat belts that I own and some people were interested in knowing the various numbers and dates on the belts so here goes. The belts are red for the 1967 model year and still in the original GM boxes. Each box has the following: ink stamp # of 13955693 and two labels; one stating GM Belt Unit and the other stating that the belt "conforms to applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards" and the #1238. Each bow tie on the buckle is blue and on the back of the buckle is the # 5144 and rcf 65. With respect to the retractor, the latch has HA 1050 on it. Inside the red plastic retractor housing I can see the date 7/68 on the metal frame and the mark of HR 5. The dates tags on each belt are 6E69 model # c10 indicating that the belts were made in 1969 as a service unit. Hope you find this info of interest.
