Just got my ACC carpet. The claim is its "the only carpet accepted by NCRS". Wow ,the color is waaaay off. The vinyl binding and the floor /heel pads are brown! . The box says medium saddle. I was told this is their only saddle color for 1970. Am I expecting too much or is there someone with a better,(lighter), color match. (waiting for AK sample)

I'd recommend getting color samples from ACC, MidAmerica, Al Knoch and (if you can get them to send one) Romeo Engineering. These are the 4 companies that actually manufacture Corvette carpet sets - everyone else just sell from one of these. Compare them to your original carpet, and go from there.
FYI, I know that ACC will make you Corvette carpet in any of their "shades" of sadle/tan/whatever. You may need to check their website for the color numbers, and ask for samples.
