I would NEVER contemplate throwing used bearings in anything unless it was the ONLY option left.

I was thinking more along the lines of the gears or any stationary components.

There is indeed a point where there is no compromise, bearings and bushings are two of them.

Thanks again, I'll be putting on my maginfyers and getting greasy very very shortly
