Corvette events

I can only attend 1 big national level Corvette event a year. I want it all; a good show plus a great swap meet. I live in New Mexico so it is a fly in, rental car, hotel/motel type event. Which event would you recommend? I'm thinking Carlisle at the end of the month but wanted your favorites/ advice. Thanks, Bill.
PS I was at Pomona last week and Corvette parts were pretty scarce.

The first time I hit the gate I started to get the shakes and broke out in a cold sweat!

First I thought it might have been low blood sugar, but then I saw an NOS set of cross flags I needed and started shaking and sweating all over again

Then when I heard the first car hit the dyno, I plum passed out
