C2 Vent Window Rebuild Service

Can anyone recomend a shop to rebuild my vent window asemblies? I've put new rubbers on but I'm not satisfied with how the window seals against the new rubber. It seems very tight about 1/2" before it seals. I'm sure the condition I describe would wear my regulators quickly.

Any suggestions?

I've been doing vent windows for 30 years and the new rubber is poor at best. You should use your old rubber seals or find a pair of good used ones and they will fit perfectly. You can do the job as good as anyone and it saves a bundle of money. You will have to use some adhesive such as black 3M cause the clips may or may not work as well as they once did. After letting the 3M dry overnight, spray with silicone, close the vent window and let is set for a few days in the sun. And no, I do not do vent windows for anyone and this is NOT a solicitation for business. Just letting the peanut gallery know.

Thanks JR. I agree the quality of the rubbers were a disappointment. My old ones were dry rotted and crumbling so I had no options.
I'll do as you suggest, silicon, close the window and let it set.
