I bought a complete smog system (with proper dates) for my '69 L-68 and would highly recommend Bill Hodel as "the man" for anything smog related. He also stands behind his work, and is very knowledgeable if you need advice.
No financial connections with Mr. Hodel...just a satisfied customer!
With a 230 Hp 1 x 4 carb you have to be talking WCFB. These carbs have a sintered bronze filter element inside the inlet fitting, just like a later model Rochester. You have to be talking a 1958, 59, 60, or 61 Corvette.
