Re: C3 Tach / heat cut off valve
Hello Anthony:
I don't know about the tach problem or installing a shut off, but I when I was looking to buy a '75 I saw two cars where the heater was bypassed without causing any apparent problems. I think, although the seller's wouldn't admit, that the heater core was leaking.

Re: C3 Tach / heat cut off valve
There's many configurations of C3s that came from the factory with a vacuum actuated shutoff valve, so the answer is no, it won't cause problems.- Top

Re: C3 Tach / heat cut off valve
Sir:
You can look at my website under climate control and see that it's a simple matter of hooking up a few hoses, installing a hot water shut off valve and it will all run just like the General did it himself for you.

PS Did you follow the instructions that come with the tach board carefully?
Even a "Girlyman" can do this :D- Top
