Hi. Can anyone tell me the differences between 69 and later doors? I have been told they are different, but not sure how.... Are the coupe and convertible C3 doors the same? thanks in advance! Brandon

Re: C3 Door question
Convert and coupe are also different in the fact that the convert has a guide pin mounted in the top rear of the door that mates, when the door is closed, with the receiver portion that's attached to the body in the door jamb. Where the guide pin is attached to the door, the door is indented, sort of speak, to allow the pin to fit into the door.- Top

Re: C3 Door question
In 73 and later the doors have a metal brace that GM called some type of safety rail in their 73 ads. Paragon sells a part to weld in coupe doors to make them convertible doors. It holds the pin when installed. LyleLyle
