    '66 rocker panel moulding fasteners.

'66 Judging Guide calls for .25" hex-head screws to mount to the brackets (under car exhaust). Is this correct, or should they be pan-head Phillips? According to the '65 - '67 AIM, the GM part number was the same (9421851), and I believe pan-heads are correct for a '67.

    '66 rocker panel moulding fasteners.

Carl, This has been a question in my mind for some time. I personally believe it is the pan head phillips. When I had my 66 judged I never seemed to have the correct screws. Pan heads, which seemed to be original, came off my 67. At this point if someone out there has a Bowtie 66 it would be interesting to hear from them.

Carl/Mark - Pan head phillips w/ floating washer for '66. That's what came on my '66 and that's what's going back on the car. BTW, I believe the TIM&JG is incorrect on the rocker panel molding screw configuration; except for those car on which they were changed to conform to the manual. Pete

        Thanks Mark and Pete.

Going with the pan-head Phillips. Worth the deduct to be correct.
