Okay I found the web address for the tie down straps. WWW.AWDirect.com The straps I borrowed are the Combo straps. Not cheap but neither is what its protecting. Thanks for the help and pictures showing where to attach them. They also show the tire basket type straps too.

Great information! I never thought about the bearing problem but it makes sense. I now have the right hooks and know where to put them. I have some bubble wrap to protect the original glass. Thanks to everyone for the comments. I'll be on the road for the next 4 or 5 days bringing the new addition to the family home.
