61 vette wiper problem

I am restoring a 61 vette and took off the two pulleys at the bottom of the wiper trans. on the passinger side by misstake. These pulleys have a recoil spring beween them and I am having trouble reattaching them to the wiper shaft. Does anybody know how this is done or know of literature on this subject..Bob

Try www.carols62.com and click on wipers or best bet is to send them to Mary Jo Rohner (VetteGal) and they will be fixed in good running order.

Thanks for your response I down loaded the wiper section from carols62com, but it did not cover how to put the pulleys and recoil spring back on the wiper shaft.I then sent mj@vettegal.com an E-Mail requesting aid , mj send E-Mail back saying they were not able to help me at this time.They said they thought the NCRS had a book on the subject, but I could not find any NCRS pub. So I still am unable to effect a fix.I have a room at Corvettes at Carlisle coming up but its about 250 miles trip over 3 days and I'm can't go if I don't fix the wipers. Not sure what to try next............Bob

How about some Rain-X, couple applications and then get them fixed at the event of the year.
