      Re: ncrs.org has been hacked

Talk about Friday the Thirteenth! I was out of town and unavailable all day yesterday. I just got home from work this afternoon to find that we were operantly hacked sometime yesterday. There was very little damage done, and it has been fixed, I think. I still have a hundred other pages to go through to make sure that none of them are broken.

Tech support is on the case. Hopefully this will not happen again. When they hack the Microsoft site, bank sites, and the New York Times sites, nobody is immune.

                  Uhhh...Bill Gates!!??...

Mark, I can't imagine anyone that deserves getting hacked MORE than Bill Gates: He was in a much better position than anyone else to have prevented this nefarious behavior, and is in a better position than anyone, if properly motivated, to get something done about it. Microsoft's newest operating system Windows XP was full of holes like Swiss cheese when it was released...half my program files are update patches to fix MSFT's oversights.

If you work for MSFT, sorry...you now have an opinion from the public. (Yeah, yeah, I know...all systems are hackable, even the government's secure stuff.) And, thanks for your efforts, John.

I don't work for Bill, but,

it sounds like a pretty good gig. I've got a 757 type rating and plenty of time on that type. Living in SEA and driving a 757 for the nerd could be pretty nice.
