I'm looking for my first '67 BB and a guy I know has a '67 Coupe for sale. Very nice original paint and interior (good colors), all original drivetrain with rebuilt motor a few thousand miles ago (427/390 hp, 4 sp), engine bay and undercarriage unrestored but very well maintianed with 80,000 miles. Rally wheels with no side pipes or A/C. Was a one owner car until a few months ago with all docs - window sticker, POP, loan papers, etc. Basically a super unmolested car! Any thoughts on the value of the car? Thanks in advance, Mark.

Re: Value of Unrestored '67 BB?
Value of cars are difficult to estimate without seeing one. What was the reason for the engine to be rebuilt with only 80K and the rest of the car from your post like original paint as very nice. Seems like you have found what most everyone wants, a super umolested car with only two previous owners. The real value is what the owner is willing to let it go for and he has most likely done some research. The big event in PA is this month, check it out and see what is available there and what the 67's are going for. Super unmolested cars have more value to some than others. I know if I were to sell my original owner 68 or 70 I would expect some compensation for their original owner status.- Top

Re: Value of Unrestored '67 BB?
Thanks Jim. I don't have all of the answers on the car yet as the current owner is away for the weekend. I went to Corvettes America in Michigan today and spoke with a number of '67 BB owners. The general consensus was between $60K and $65K based on my description. The current owner wants $75K for the car, but we haven't discussed this in any detail to see if he is flexible at all - I didn't want to do that until I got a little market education first! Yes, I am going to Carlisle and will watch the '67 BB prices closely. Thanks again, Mark.- Top
