Corvette Dash tweek c3

Hi all I want to update my 76 a bit to the 80 (ish) type dash that has a glove box. It looks like the birdcage is about the same as far as bolting in the stuff. I need basically everyting for my interiro so it is not a problem to go all nes to the year I am looking for.

The idea is to go new enough to get a glove box in the dash instead of a pocket.

That would suggest you'll be going deep to include the controls, ductwork as well as the entire dash assembly and perhaps even the console which differs as well. My suggestion is to pick up both the 76 and 80-ish AIM, itemize the parts and determine if that is within your budget. Well on second thoughts...maybe not the controls! It also includes the instrument cluster and the speedo/tach cluster. Your talking major investment and probably one that will not be recouped in a resale.
