vettheads forums is simple???

I looked in to Vett-heads and trying their 30 trial . Man there are so many forums I'm confused . I don't know where any thing is or how to get around .This sight is "simple" or I'm simple , plus vary little C1 in-put. I'm I wrong???

Roy, Play around with the site and you'll be comfortable in no time. From the home page click on forums, scroll down in order to see all contained on this page. Pick a subject and click on it. As far a C1 info just ask you'll be surprised. Welcome.

Roy, If you post anything on Vetteheads or there is a active post and your trying to follow it. When you get to the home page just hit new posts. Anything new since your last visit will show up. That I think is great and usually the way I enter the site. Welcome Mike

Confusing, maybe. Different, yes! I usually just go to the new posts and lurk and post from there. But hey, just play with it, you won't break it.
As for C1 input, ask them a question, there are some true experts there. That goes for C2 & C3 & C4 and C5 as well. Soon the C6s too.

At first it may look confusing, but just look around and click. Like they say, you can't break it. Took me about 2 days to be comfortable on the site.

I visit and post to both sites. However, I do find the Vetteheads format a bit confusing and "complicated". In my opinion, there is absolutely NO format which is better than the one used here for the NCRS Technical Discussion Board. It's absolutely PERFECT for this sort of discussion board and I'm 100% thrilled and pleased that we've stuck with it. There may be "newer" formats, but, in my opionion, there is ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER format than this one.

I didn't know that. In any event, I'm glad that John is able to keep this format going. Like I say, I've never seen another one that I think works anywhere near as well as this one.

I tried vetteheads about a year ago, for the 30 day trial, thought it was a lot of B.S. and canceled, Nothing like the NCRS tech board.

In my opinion, the vettehead member forum is the Internet equivalent of sitting around in lawn chairs, drinking beer, at Carlisle and talking about vettes and other things. You need to take the time to know the people and some of the history before it makes sense.

It is not, and is not designed to be, the same as the serious NCRS Technical Forum. Different strokes - both have their place. I enjoy each of them for different reasons.
