C-1 59 Help Needed

1959 with the early hood latches. Can't seem to find the hole on pass. side where the hood release cable comes thru the firewall. The 59 AIM has the later style latches and the 58 AIM is not clear. Could someone please check their car and tell me where it exits thru the firewall? Thanks in advance.

It should go through a hole behind the ignition shielding. On the interior side it is behind the heater setup. I find it by sticking a electrical wire from the engine compartment side into the interior site. Hook the hood release cable to this electical wire and pull it back from the engine compartment through the firewall...
