    67 L-71 Voltage Regulator Question

I was just wondering if it make any difference when you have a trans/Ign.would it require a special or stock voltage regulator? I thought I had read back in 65 the Trans/Ign. cars used a different voltage regulator.

If know one knows for sure I'll ask Dave Fielder this week and post his reply for info sake.

    Thanks,grr#33570

    George----

For 1965, Corvettes equipped with transistor ignition and air conditioning were supplied with a special transistorized voltage regulator. However, and as far as I am aware, this regulator was NOT used after 1965 on Corvettes (although it was used on other cars).

In any event, Corvettes equipped with the K-66 transistor ignition option DO NOT require this special regulator.
