Is there a source for the w/wiper pump parts? The piston and ring used to be available from GM, but I'm pretty sure they have been discontinued for a while. The pump has pumped water for years and I'm sure the "piston ring" is worn out....

The valve assembly (i.e. the top part with ports and the internal parts associated with it) are available in the aftermarket. These are sold by Motormite, Dorman, and others. You will find them in the carded Help! parts section of your local auto supply store. These are white, as original, but they're a little "whiter" than the originals were when they were new.
The other parts of the pump are no longer serviced by GM or, as far as I know, anyone else. You can obtain a new Delco pump and scavenge some parts from it to use in rebuilding an old pump. Unfortunately, many of the parts on the new Delco pumps will not interchange with the old pumps. Beyond that, the piston and valve assembly of the new pumps is a black plastic.
For the piston seal, you may be able to find an o-ring that will work as a replacement.
Very often, the piston assembly (which consists of the "cylinder" and "piston") will fail due to deterioration and age. The piston assembly cannot be repaired when this occurs and, as I say, there are no replacements available anymore from GM or the aftermarket. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: C3 W/Wiper parts sources
Bruce,
I had similar problems with my washer pump piston and seal for a 69. I could not find replacement parts for these items. However, I had a donor pump from a 72 and used the internal parts from it. I think these are fairly common parts that are used on other GM cars. I would suggest a trip to your local salvage yard. Perhaps you can find a donor pump.

Re: C3 W/Wiper parts sources
Thanks Joe...I have extra 3-port connections. The other parts are what I need. George...I'm from Canada, and with the salt used on the roads, there are no donor cars of that vintage left to go thru, heck I'm having problems finding parts for my 94 Fleetwood. Unless the car has good parts, and is common, and they have high demand for the parts, the wrecking yards don't keep the cars like they used to.....I'll look at Carlisle for a pump- Top
