Your right on the money there. I need the turn signal switch assy with the bearing because thats shot and looking at the steel tube I see only one worn tab left on it. You mentioned 4 tabs on the tube. Would you look to see if your new tube has four or three. Behind the turn signal assy there is a large disk with three indexing holes (curved slots) that the tabs ( if there) would fit into and three holes for the turn signal switch screws to go through. Now that it's apart its really a very simple setup but either the worn bearing allowed the tabs to be "eaten" away or the broken tabs allowed the bearing to go bad. I clearly need both to fix it. Not having power steering must really put a lot of stress on this part of the column.
