    69 Convertible Interior Quarter Moldings/Retainers

    Can anyone tell me where to get the best reproduction quarter moldings and retainers? I have already purchased some about 5-6 years ago and found that they don't fit correctly and the retainers are altogether wrong. I did compare them to some used ones and found these particular brand are wrong and would like to get the correct ones.

      If you're talking about the quarter trim panels behind the seats...the pieces that cover the convertible top mounting, I don't think anyone makes a correct repro. The originals are vinyl covered "gray plastic". The repro's I've seen are a heavy moulded plastic with the grain pressed in. I've managed to pick up a few at flea markets over the past year or so, and now have a good "set" on my car. These are 68-69 specific items. Chuck
