Norwood-built '69 Camaros started having the VIN derivative stamped on the rough-cast vertical rib above the oil filter in January, 1969, and Van Nuys-built '69 Camaros started this practice about March or April. They were stamped on an as-cast surface (no machined pads anywhere near that area), and are extremely difficult to find or to read.

Ok dude thanx. I'm not gonna say I'm not a lil bummed, but I still like the engine. Like I said it's the strongest 350 I ever had, and it's a screamer for sure.
