Thanks guys! I'm pretty sure I am getting a good look at the tank from above. It looks relatively clean so I should be able to see something but no luck. Maybe some already got to it. Dammit! While I wasn't really looking forward to dropping the tank if I did see something, it would have been real exciting!
I could not see mine until I dropped the tank. I even damaged the rubber seal before dropping the tank. It was a great experiance. My car had all of the indications of a 435 horse high option car, but I could not confirm it as original until I dropped the tank. Since I had been out of the hobby for about 17 years, I did not know a sticker was ever used. When I found out about stickers, I came home and dropped the tank that night. The sticker was heavily damaged, but the 435horse and leather were legible. If you are slightly interested, drop the tank.
