'68 L79 distributor part number help

My distributor has the following markings on the exposed part of the shaft :1111475 Delco Remy 8A1. It is electronic with a 2 wire pigtail/molex connector coming from the base. I haven't figured out where this plugs into yet, as I'm just going through all of the wiring.

Does anyone have any idea what the application for this distributor is?

Second design TI distributor for '68 L-79. Trace the connector to the harness and the harness to the ampllifier.

On C2s the amp is mounted on the front drivers side inner fender panel behind the grille. Not sure of the C3 location.

Same place on C3s. Sometimes the amplifier is so far outboard that it is easier to see the mounting fasteners on the wheel side of the panel.

Appears to be original, so I guess I'm going to have to live with it. Never had one of these before, so I'm not sure if it is a good thing....or a bad thing, especially because of the age. Always preferred points and condenser. Thanks again Duke.
