GM Dual Disc Clutch

Hello

Ihave a dual disc clutch that I purchased new from GM back in the early eighties. This was used on my '70 Chevelle LS-6 for about 100 miles and is in good condition. I believe it was an option on LS-6 Corvettes in '71. I was wondering what this might be worth. It includes externally balanced flywheel #3992094,pressure plate#231254 and the discs #3993815.

these clutches because of the extra weight slow down accelleration. even though the C-6 has "gear rattle" in neutral that can be silenced with a dual mass clutch GM found out that extra weight wouls slow the 0-60 mph time by .2/.3 of a second so they did not use the dual mass clutch.

The HD dual-disc flywheel weighs 24 1/2 pounds and the diaphram cover with two driven discs and a 10" center plate weighs 30 pounds, the total of which is approximately equal to the standard BORG and BECK unit at 33 pounds for the flywheel and 21 pounds for the cover and plate.
