    64 Clutch Linkage

    Hello Everyone,

Well you all convinced me to go with the original bellhousing and clutch for my 64 Coupe. The problem I seemed to be having now is my clutch push rods arent long enough so, If any one knows the correct lengths of the 2 clutch push rods I would appreciate the information. Had I enough time I would go check my fathers all original fuelly but he's not close enough to run over and check. Thanks in advance

    Don----

The correct bellcrank-to-clutch release fork push rod for your 64 is GM #3844209 which is 10-9/16" overall length. This piece is still available from GM.

The clutch pedal-to-bellcrank rod is GM #3888213 which is applicable to all 63-67 Corvettes. I don't know the length of this rod at the moment.

Thanks for the info on the bellcrank push-rod. That is what I appear to have for it. I measured my pedal to z-bar push rod and it was basically 16 1/2 inches so if anyone can tell me it should be a couple inches longer or what not I'd appreciate it.

      Thanks again
