C-2 Convertable top

I have had a problem adjusting the top on my 63. While driving with the top up if I hit a bump in the raod the rear pin pops out on the drivers side. I have played with it a couple of time to try and eliminate the problem but no success. Is there a good way to adjust the top or do I just drive around all pot holes.

Soft top popping out of rear deck latches is typically a result of improper centering of the soft top over the rear deck latches. There is some adjustment in the deck latches as well as adjustment of the latch pins on the rear bow. You need to achieve a solid alignment for the latches to hold. Also, while you're at it, eyeball the condition of the latch pins as well as the mating surface on the latch lock plate. If there's appreciable wear, you may not be able to get by with a simple re-alignment.
