Exh Manifold washers - Michael Hanson

With regard to the thread below, I thought I could POSSIBLY explain from
whence the JG got its explanation - when you look in the AIM section on the radio and attachment of the shielding, the drawing of the PASSENGER side refers to this "spacer" as '"EXISTING WASHER" and then shows it in ALL SIX LOCATIONS - no part # given.
Unfortunately, when I turn the page to look at the DRIVER'S SIDE MANIFOLD, it only shows the "spacer"/"existing washer in THE OUTBOARD FOUR BOLTS.
So if the JG was using the AIM drawings - which, in my view they should NOT - as a source, they're still wrong.......

    It also APPEARS to be

the same drawings used in the 1963 and 1964 AIMs.

      Thanks Loren,

I just looked in the 66 AIM and it looks like the drawing was finally corrected. I see "existing washer" on the end bolt pairs only for both right and left.
