    Early 70 A/C Suction Line

I need information on suction line configuration on a 02-02-70 build date; 350/300hp. I know there are two different style compressor, muffler and tube assemblies for the small block.

The first one is 3963760 (up to 05/18/70); the second one is 3992144.

Part #3963760 uses a separate line running from the compressor to the POA valve. Is the original configuration for this line rigid aluminum or rubber hose?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks....Jeff

    AC lines

Completely rigid formed aluminum lines (without any rubber freon hose) did not appear until 74 on the condenser outlet line. That line was in 2 pieces to lead back to the VIR. All prior models use freon hose clamped or crimped to aluminum fittings for the various connections.
