    Judging block casting numbers

Quick question. 67 big block casting numbers were mostly 3904351. The judging manual states that the casting 3869942 was used in 66 and the first 200 or so 67s. If a casting 3869942 was in an october car and met the six month casting date rule is this a deduction? The casting number is a vette number, and the date is within the 6 month time limit.

    Thank you
    Jon

I think that you have the answer in your question. The "first 200 or so '67's". I think that an October build date car would be well out of that range.
