Tripower secondaries hook up?

Where do I hook the vacuum hose on the main carb, at the spot on the base plate (throttle body) or the more hidden spot sort of under the fuel bowl? Also should the main carb gasket between carb and intake have any holes in it besides the main two?

Gary, under the float bowl. The other port is your vacuum advance line for distributor.

Thanks, the car does not have vacuum advance so it is not in use. I guess I will just plug it.

Make sure that you have a very good mechanical advance curve set-up on your distrivutor then, or the car will not run right without the vacuum advance. First clue may be getting hot while idling.
