Hope this will help someone not make the same mistake. I am doing a frame off 1973 coupe restoration. Some previous owner had replaced the RH front fender. While disassembling the car the inner fender skirt actually fell off. I glued it to what was thought to be the proper position. I was then trying to fit a new lower valance & soft nose bumper to the car only to find the bumper and valance would not fit properly. The Rh fender was being pushed out of alignment by the inner skirt. Last night I spent the time sawing out the inner skirt so the fender could return to its proper position. Now the valance and bumper fit like a glove. It does not take much for the skirt to push the fender out of alignment. I would suggest to anyone doing this to fit the bumper, valance, etc. the car for proper fit and then glue the inner skirt into place. If I would have done that first I could have save a several hours and a lot less frustration. I am just glad I did not send the body to the paint shop with out first checking the fits.
