Intake Manifold Gasket part number '63 L76

I was told by a local Chevy parts guy today that the Intake Manifold gasket for a 327 340HP has been discontinued. Can anyone confirm or deny this? From recent posts about the intake gasket (see "Intake Manifold" thread started Feb 14th), I was under the impression that the part was still available from GM.

Can someone please give me the correct part number? I think I wrote down the number he looked up, but left the notes at work. Anyway, I would like to get a second opinion.

The 57-68 small block (except FI) intake gasket set is, indeed, discontinued and has been for quite some time. The last available part number was GM #3931600. However, all is not lost. I THINK that the 69-72 gasket set, currently GM #10147994, will work alright. I THINK that the difference is the configuration of the end seals. For end seals, I don't recommend using the gasket kit- supplied seals, anyway. I recommend using Permatex Ultra Copper or Ultra Black RTV instead of the seals. Either of these sealers is designed to actually swell in the presence of oil, improving the seal.

Otherwise, you can obtain a stock-type gasket set from Victor-Reinz, McCord, or Detroit Gasket. These 3 manufacturers made most of the GM gaskets, anyway.
