That is Playmate pink. Don't you guys recognize that color? I remember when the 1968 AMX was awarded to the Playmate of the Year, a brunette, in this color. Next year a 1969 Shelby GT 500 was awarded to a good looking blonde!

You guys need to pull out all the sixties Playboy magazines and look at the Corvette ads, while perusing for those, you should see these vehicles.

remember donna mae mimms and her pink corvette race cars back in the late 50s early 60s,she even dyed her dog "pedro" pink. she now drives a pink corvette with a picture of m. monroe on the hood.

Remimds me of the 'hot pink' Pinto craze, circa 1971. About 6 months later they all either disappeared or got repainted. Seems no one wanted to be caught DEAD in one of those things after that . ! ..
