The car is growing on me, catfish face and all. But,I'll have to see that Sunset Orange in person to decide on that color...the wife took one look at the website rendition and said, "Ungh-ungh, No Way!" On the other hand, a $20K discount on a new C5, which was the best Corvette until the C6, looks awful inviting.

2005 Corvette number 13 is "Mustang red".

Attended a really nice gathering of Corvettes this past month. This was arranged by "Corvettes America" at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI. See their web site below.

The lowest serial number I noted on a new Corvette was "13". It was a dark red that I associate with Fords. (Sorry about the use of the "F" word). Actually, most of the new Corvettes there that color. Only one was Orange, and it looked better than the red to me.

Also, thanks for the music references to L7. I've been L7 and didn't even know it!
