Would anyone be able to tell me the colors that the accessory Chevy seat belts were available in?

By 59, the seatbelts were standard equipment not accesories, and they were available in all the interior colors offered in that year.

Thanks very much for the info. I currently do not own a Corvette. The only Corvette I ever did own was a '63 Z-06 which was fairly modified by the time I owned it in the late '70s. I do have my eye on a nice 365hp '64, which I'm first in line for when the owner faces his daughter's college bills.

Actually, I was asking the question for a friend who owns a '59 Impala. He's trying to find out what colors were available. Belts were only accessories for the full size cars in '59 (actually 'till '62 when they first became RPOs). From talking to some other people, we were under the impression that the '59 belts were the same (as odd as it may sound) for both the Corvette and passenger car in '59, since the webbing was just looped through floor clamps, rather than pre-cut and sewn to the floor hardware. (This is just what I've heard).

My friend is extremely serious about restoring his '59 correctly, thus the interest in knowing what was "right". I'll pass your information on to him.
