My 70 convert has had shoulder belts added. What is supposed to go over the retractors and what should the trim panels behind the seat ( quarter trim panels ? ) look like. Are they straight or the bigger style with a cut out ?

Original trim panels had a separate cover for the harness with a lip that fit under the quarter trim panel. Most repros are all one piece. I am not sure if anyone is reproducing just the small cover. -

Just did some research. The harness cover is manufactured separately. $39.95 per pair.Comment

Quarter trim panel extensions were only used on Coupes. Convertibles had the shoulder belt covers as part of the quarter trim panel itself. Belts, if so optioned, passed through a rectangular hole cut into the panel.Comment
