60 Fuel injection unit? Wrong unit

Just purchased a basket case 60, injection unit in the trunk may not be correct. I have the 58 -60 judging manual and I can not understand the numbers as follows;intake 3788233, on tag 7014900 ser#1406, on unit 7014922, 7014781,902. The car was build on june 8 1960. Any ideas or am I looking at the book wrong? Thanks Bill

7014900 was a '58-59 unit, not used in '60. 406th unit built in the '900 part number series

The FI unit you have, GM #7014900, was not originally used on a 1960 model Corvette. It was used on 1958-59 Corvettes with 250 hp FI engines.

I think that you will find that the manifold is GM casting #3768233. This manifold was used from 1959 through 1962. Given this fact and the liklihood that the manifold and FI unit were off the same engine, the FI unit that you have is probably off a 250 hp 1959 Corvette.
