    C2 67 C60 L79 Fan Belt

When I purchased my 67 I received some parts that had been removed and replaced to make the car "road worthy" after storage since 1979. One item I found in the goodies box was a fan belt with the following markings: GM 3849035 and then it looks like 469:56 I can't find this fan belt number in my assembly manual, does anyone else know if it is an original belt or a GM replacement? My car is an L79/327/350 & C60/air cond., NO power steering.
Thanks for any help in identification.

Jimmy -- Are you sure the part # is not 3849085 (instead of 9035 ?), because that's the only belt # that is even remotely similar in the '67 GM Chassis P & A catalog (Oct '66 version). The "9085" has vanished by the '70 Corvette P & A 30 catalog, and does not yet exist in the '65 GM (1 July '65 Rev) catalog.

This belt is 56.75" by 15/32", and use shows as '66 Corvette (Air. Cond. w/Sp. H/Per.) 327 (exc. P/S). Driven Pulleys: Water Pump and Crankshaft, in groove #2 (second from timing cover). Don't worry that it doesn't show for '67 applications, as none of the other belts do, so I guess that means the usage carries over from '66 MY.

Also used on certain 6 cyl trucks.

      Wayne,

Yes I am sure I could have been mistaken as the stamping was very faint, I held it up to the fluorescent light in my garage and used my glasses as a ZOOM and tried to decipher the numbers. I may of misread it for sure. Also there was further numbers on the belt something like 469:56 and then some others, I was wetting my finger, letting it go into the indentation on the belt then trying to read, I was wondering if a mark over with some chalk might work. Any ideas?

Also my plug wires that were in the box say: PACKARD TV-R-SUPPRESSION 1-Q-67

      Thanks for your input.
