'64-'65 7-blade Fans w/C60 -- (Rivet Types)

The '65 AIM calls for flat "button-head" rivets (heads facing the radiator) for all fans, including the 7-blade # 3853943 [18" dia w/pointed tips -- see Noland's Vol 2, Pg 218], which is a '64-'65 only applicaton. By contrast, all '64 fans, per '65 AIM, had round "mushroom-head" rivets.

Has anyone seen a 7-blade '65-MY fan for this air conditioning service with the flat "button-head" rivets ? My survey sample is extremely limited, but I've only seen the "mushroom-head" variety.

Wayne - I have an "orphan" # 3853943 '64-'65 Corvette C-60 7-blade (18" dia w/ pointed blade tips as described in Noland's book) that has flat button head rivets (4 per blade). Unfortunately, I have no info as to its vintage. Pete
