Hey... I know sunvisors did not come on '58's, and they were optional on '59's. I assumed they could be screwed onto a '58 using the existing inner W/S attaching holes... but the Corvette Central catalog says that '58's windshield frames were not drilled for this... is this true?
'58 sunvisor addition?

Re: '58 sunvisor addition?
Steve,
Even '59-ers delivered without thios option weren't prepared for this so if you would desire this option anyway you need to adjust or replace the upper trim.
greetings,
Rob.

Re: '58 sunvisor addition?
retrofitting sunvisors to a 58 will require replacing the upper stainless trim as well as the upper windhield frame. or one could fabricate mounting reinforcements for the existing frame then drill the existing stainless trim. why not buy a good pair sunglasses? good luck, mike- Top
